Frequently asked questions
Drone operations are subject to specific regulations and permits depending on the location and purpose of the flight. Our team is well-versed in these regulations and ensures full compliance with local laws and airspace restrictions for each project.
All our drone operators are licensed by the appropriate aviation authorities and hold the necessary certifications. Additionally, we maintain comprehensive insurance coverage to ensure the safety of our operations and clients.
Unfortunately no. While we will attempt to fly on the date of request, the drones are susceptible to inclement weather and could be damaged or dangerous if we fly.
Guidelines are as follows:
1. Generally we can fly within temperatures from 25 degrees Fahrenheit to 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Flying during any precipitation will not be possible.
3. The FAA limits flight to visual line of sight (VLS). A very cloudy or foggy day may limit this VLS and by regulation we are not allowed to fly.
4. Wind speeds during the flight may hinder and reduce capabilities although we should be able to fly in wind gusts up to 25mph.
It will be up to the pilot to make the determination of safety to fly. If it is deemed unsafe to fly, it will be up to the client and the pilot to either reschedule or determine if a refund of any up-front payment is necessary.
Safety and privacy are paramount in our operations. Our drone pilots undergo rigorous training to ensure safe flying practices. We also respect privacy laws and adhere to strict guidelines to safeguard individuals and property during all drone flights.
Drone photography adds a unique perspective and allows you to capture stunning aerial shots that were previously inaccessible. It provides a fresh and captivating viewpoint, giving your projects a dynamic and immersive visual appeal.
When working with a drone photographer, there are a few things you can do to ensure that you get the best possible results:
- Provide the drone photographer with as much information as possible about the property. This includes what you hope to get out of the shoot, how we can bring your vision to life, and anything you would like the pilot to focus on.
- Be available to answer questions and provide feedback to the drone photographer. The drone photographer will need to know what you are looking for in order to create the best possible images.
- Be flexible with scheduling. Drone photography can be weather-dependent, so be prepared to reschedule flights if necessary.
By following these tips, you can work with a drone photographer to create the best high-quality images.
We offer a wide range of services, including aerial photography, videography, real estate photography, landscape photography, event coverage, promotional videos, and more. Our drones are equipped with high-resolution cameras and advanced stabilization technology to deliver exceptional results.
The turnaround time depends on the complexity and scope of the project. However, we strive to deliver the final edited photos and videos within a reasonable timeframe. We will discuss the estimated delivery timeline with you before commencing the project.
The cost of our drone photography/videography services depends on several factors, including the duration of the project, complexity of the shots, location, and any additional services required. We offer competitive pricing tailored to each client’s unique needs. For a detailed quote, please reach out to our team with the specifics of your project.
- You could be fined by the FAA. The FAA has strict regulations governing the operation of drones, and anyone who operates a drone without a license can be fined up to $25,000 per violation.
- The drone could crash. Drones are complex machines, and even experienced pilots can make mistakes. If a drone crashes, it could damage property or injure people.
- The drone could interfere with air traffic. Drones can fly at high speeds and altitudes, and they can easily interfere with commercial and recreational aircraft. If a drone interferes with air traffic, it could cause a serious accident.
If you are considering hiring a drone pilot, it is important to make sure that they are properly licensed and insured. You can check the FAA’s website to see if a pilot is licensed, and you can ask the pilot to provide proof of insurance. By taking these precautions, you can help to ensure that your drone operation is safe and legal.
Here are some additional things to consider when hiring a drone pilot:
- Make sure the pilot has experience flying drones in the type of environment where you will be using them. For example, if you need aerial footage of a construction site, make sure the pilot has experience flying drones in close proximity to people and vehicles.
- Get a written contract that specifies the services that will be provided, the cost of those services, and the terms of payment. The contract should also include a clause that releases you from liability in the event of an accident.
- Be present when the drone is being operated. This will allow you to make sure that the pilot is following all safety procedures and that the drone is not being flown in a dangerous or illegal manner.
